02/01/09 Update: Sign remains up
First a little housekeeping issues -- I have some folks programed to receive an email notification each time a new post is created. If you are one of those folks and do not wish to be on this list, please let us know and we will have you removed. Of course to follow this blog, anyone can sign up for a feed on the left hand column.
FYI:
To this date, the owner has not arranged for the sign to come down. Hey -- Do you know anyone with a 100 foot crane and a couple of scaffolds?
For those just tuning in, the owner Frank Rahban has been cited for fire code violations on the illegal supergraphics' that was put up over the entire side of his 6 story building, making it an eyesore to the public and creating a hazardous environment for all of the occupants. He was ordered by the fire department to have it removed by Thurs. Jan. 28 and today the sign remains standing. On Friday Jan. 30th, the City Attorney has filed criminal charges (23 count) and we've chronicled all the details in this blog from the beginning -- See blog archive on the left hand column to help you navigate through the info.
I wanted to thank my massage therapist, Elaine for informing me of this thing called blogging. I began my first blog about 3 months ago and it has sparked so many new business ideas -- it's a fantastic concept and has been a great match for me. I enjoy writing and I can reach the global community at the sound of a keystroke.
I wanted to share some of the cool things about blogging and blogspot. Blogspot is owned by Google and they make it very easy to start your own blog. On this page in the top right corner, there's a link to create your own blog and you can be literally be up and running in just a few minutes.
When you have a blogspot site, you can view satistical info at another location called Google Analytics. This is absolutely the coolest feature -- it tracks all the activities that occur on your blog.
